Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

The Zune phone - building a product off of a product that already flopped is something only Microsoft would do. Oh wait.

The biggest tech flop of '07 will be the iPhone. Yeah, it's the almighty iPod phone and the long awaited Widescreen/touchscreen iPod, but it has a lot of downsides that aren't the normal "it's going to scratch real easily."

The price, obviously, is a huge downside. $600 is beyond ridiculous.
The storage is another downside. 4 to 8 GB will not hold all my music, all my photos, and the latest episodes of LOST.
Looking past the tether to Cingular Wireless, the biggest problem with the iPhone is that it doesn't have a removeable battery. It only has 5 hours battery life for talk/video/browsing, and when it dies, it's dead. No extra battery to pop in, it's just dead.

If I can't watch the latest episode of the Office and be confident that my phone will last through the day, the product is a failure.

iPhone. Too much hype, too high of a price, not enough carriers to support the "holy grail" of phones.

I think theall-weather wifi-enabled-MP3-mechanical pencil with dual cursive/block letter spellcheck that also beeps when it's running out of lead will sink like a stone.
